Weather 1/26/13

Beautiful weekend in Penasco. It didn't start out that way; we got about an +1/2" of rain in Playa Miramar on early Saturday morning, but cleared up in the afternoon. I don't think I've seen so many birds- pelicans, cormorants, herons, egrets, etc. as we did on Saturday afternoon. I wish I had my good camera- anyone else get some pictures?

How bad did the road in to Miramar get? Usually with a good rain the road becomes impassable for half a day and then it dries up after a few hours of sun.

Hi, there were 2 areas with rain puddling, but we were able to get out by driving on the shoulder.

That happens offten, i've never seen that many pelicans on the beach.
