Is it possible to stay @ the Sky with a dog if you're not an owner? We've stayed there the lasr few years and left him @ home with my dad, but my dad is having health problems and probably won't be able to care for him again. He's a 12 lb,, 8 yr old poodle. We go in May every year (just got back) and are already worried

they won't allow you to bring an animal to the resort unless you are an owner present.

Can you stay anywhere there with a 4 legged baby? Baja?

I think if you get special permission from the owner you can. Last year on VRBO there was someone at Casa Blanca condos on Sandy Beach that allowed dogs. Check there and on Craigslist also.

There is also a new doggy hotel in town where you could put poochie up for a personal Vacation. Nice clean place. Fremont to Sinaloa, cross the tracks, take first left at the sign, go about 3 blocks, large sign on building.Rocky Pet Hotel and Spa. email [email protected], phone 480-823-4341. They apparently have a facebook account.

Also you can go to "VRBO Rocky Point" Vacation Rentals by Owner. They have a little icon of a dog indicating which properties allow a dog.

We love going to Rocky Point and always bring our 100 pounds of love yellow lab! I sware she has more fun then we do. VRBO is a great way to find places that will rent to pet owners. Also, when you are there walking on the beach talk to people with dogs. You will be amazed at the connections you can make that way. Good Luck!
