I would love to take the ferry over, hang out up there after going to the petroglyphs Pictographs and petroglyphs in Baja California Norte

you know when we were in our twenties this type of trip was what we lived for..now my nephews and friends kids think if they get out of the hamster wheel and do some cool stuff they will lose their place in the world...suckers!

I just came back from Valle de Guadalupe. Had a great time at the wine, cheese and bread festival at L.A. Cetto and the most amazing dinner at Finca Altozano. Can't wait for our next trip.

Russ,
Which route did you go...through Mexicali or through Guadalupe Victoria and then towards San Felipe and then over the mountain?

" I was fantastic" should have been " it was fantastic" I drove from Mexicali to Tecate and then down Highway 3 to Ensenada. It's easy and beautiful!

We're thinking about making that trip this winter. Any pics you can share? Places to stay, eat?
