My friend Ed and I left Safe Harbor at 6am hoping to beat the heat but no such luck- We caught a 23 lb leopard grouper and a 62 lb gulf grouper in 180 feet of water before 10 am but at 10;30 the air was so still and it ws so hot that we trolled closer reefs with no luck and called it quits early-- TOO DAMNED HOT
