http://www.thepacker.com/fruit-vegetable-news/shipping-profiles/Fair-Trade-asparagus-program-gains-ground-for-Giumarra-234602791.html. This company just went fair trade. It has already helped people I know near Santo Tomas.Campo Pablo Borquez shows the way for other producers.
Check out this burning field picture.A bit rough on Caborca if the winds do not cooperate but allows for nearly pesticide free end product.

But Jerry here it seems you are all pro for the fires, which also are part of the increasing global warming we are having!! however since I can see the difference between this type of global warming that will feed thousands of people, create jobs, housing, schools and recreational areas as compare to the cruise ship that create pollution, discard of feces in our oceans and only serves a few but creates more destruction that help to the human race.
I say screw global warming and have fun till you die or go back to study geology and find out we are due for a warming trend and then get screwed with the next ice age, however it will take thousands of years and we all be dead by then!!!! like Russ will say enjoy the moment in PP, AJUA!!!!

Hey I always eat dessert first myself and am proud to have been a drifter till I was 40. the fires are a drag for Caborca....it is a trade off..less pesticides in the water table and sea or smoke 10 days a year

I do like the idea of burn off better than pesticides but still believe that "Global Warming" is just a gimmick for some to make extra money somewhere!!
