Mosquitoes?

Hi- Just wondering how the mosquitoes are in Puerto Penasco? Last two times I was there, in March and May, they were non-existent. Also, is there actually a rainy season down there? I know mit gets only 2 inches of rain a year, so it can't be a very lengthy one. :D

There are mosquitoes. I remenber a new moon in Los Conchas when we got eaten alive. I've heard that that they lay thier egg at the high water mark in the estuarys and the next big tide breaks open the eggs... I've only had a couple weekends when they were a problem.

Mesquitos are anywhere that fresh water collects. They are mostly those "ankle biter" types that you don't see. I believe they are the species that carries dengue fever, which is alive and well in Mexico.
