Pedigree is bad dog food. Made from the 4 D's...dead, dying, diseased, & disabled. Killed a bunch of my dogs with it before they told me.

Holy crap.it is the number one brand in the USA!

Didn't know that. Scary. Lost 5 golden retrievers feeding them that. Every one we ever had. Two at age 4, one at 7, two at about 1o. All to cancer. Talked to a breeder and told her the story & she warned me about the food.

Just goes as a reminder that in almost all things the biggest, showiest, convincing, and most heartwarming marketing is often a sham. As for dog food, there are even vets who buy into the Pedigree advertising. Whole Dog Journal is one source . . . they inspect and publish a list of "safe" and nutritious dog foods.
