Heading down this weekend. I'm dying to get back in the water. I'm kind of a big baby with cold water. I LOVE the temp of the water in mid-June. Anybody been in lately? How is it?

I was there this past weekend. My jetski read 75 to 76 degrees consistently around Sandy Beach area.

That's too cold for me!

It might be too cold for me too. But I'm sure gonna try. I hate not being able to be in the water.

My pool is 82 and it feels cold.

If I remember this is about the high summer temp for Southern California ocean water. Just jump in shrivel up and enjoy.
When I was young I spent everyday, when school was out for the summer, in the water. We lived in Newport Beach from school out until back to school.

My daughter shamed me into going in and though I didn't want to admit it the temp wasn't too bad- and I'm a wimp when it comes to cold water.

CEDO used to be a great place to get current air and water temps and they reported in current time. They have been stuck on their website since 2010.

I believe it would smart , if not plain standard, for them to have current water temps available on their site. It would definitely draw traffic to their website if people were searching for that information.

The fishtrack site says water temps are a little over 73.
