Joe, Honda Rancher is still working…sort of…always gives you a scare if not used a lot shifting out of 2nd…..a crap system…..the new Bronco looks good!
Jerry! You can't kill a Honda! I remember the scare I had on that thing. Does it still have that issue that if you turn it off in gear it won't start again?! I can't remember what I did that day when I was like 3 miles from the house BELOW tide line fishing side saddle when it wouldn't start... I was like FUCK, Jerry said not to turn it off in gear! Fuck! Then for a half second I started to panic before my better half said to calm down and THINK. Then I remember doing something like using the pull start or... I can't remember. I was able to get it back into neutral and started. Disaster avoided!!! Not destroying your hosts quad while being a guest is pretty high on the priority list. Thank god I was able to figure that out! Do you remember what I did????? Good to see that thing still ripping! Every now and then I window shop those things on CL or OfferUp and people want WAAYYYYYYYY too much for those damn 4x4 hunting quads...

Hey Joe, You actually discovered the trick….rocking it from the saddle while shifting.I hear its doing ok but have not been there for two years as I was in South Carolina then let the guy that took my job use the place on and off.He sorta hated it and now finished up the work and is back in Beaufort Sc…..fun as hell fishing town.I will be heading back in April…finally selling our ranch

My Honda big red did the same thing. Turned out to be loose wires on the neutral safety switch.

Incidentally the road from the Mayan to Santo Tomas is in terrific shape right now.No potholes but the Nation Guard troops at the alduna at the estuary almost turned me back because I had left my Az offroad plate on the old polaris atv I was bringing down.The # doesnt show up of registration info and confused them….looked bad for a while!
