What to Shut Off?

When you go on vacation for a couple of weeks what do you shut off at home? Water main, air conditioner, water heater, refrigerator?

Shut off W/H, Turn up A/C, and if your not watering the lawn ect. turn off the H2O..

Leave outside lights on lock doors and tell a friend to keep an eye on the place. Also put a couple lights on a timer to come on at night and go off when you go to bed, to make it look like someone is home.

Good to have water valves set up so you can turn off house & leave irrigation system on. Not good to come home & find water running out the front door. Happens all the time.

Yep, we always turn off the water main after one of our friends staying at our house forgot to turn off the hose, and burned out the water pump.

We don't turn off the fridge. It takes too long to cool back down, plus you have to empty it first.
