The last time we were down, we thought prices were higher than they are here in Tucson. What are they running now?
mexicoruss
too much
tequilatodd
Everywhere else in Az is more expensive than Tucson :p
When I was down last, I filled up before I left. I was below a 1/4 tank. Cost me about few bucks more than here.
So I didn't feel like I paid more than $3.50gal.

Mid June I believe gas was about $3.90 a gallon. I was doing the math in my head so I could be off .10 + or -. It starting to suck having a boat down there.

I am so sorry, I didn't pay attention today when I gassed up in Sonoyta. I hardly pay attention to gas prices here because it is what it is and I can't worry about it.... It was 40 bucks and probably 13 gallons......

I hope Sonora does not follow the lead of baja cali and make us use pet carriers for our pets, maybe good idea for small lap dogs.

In 10 years they have never asked anything about my big dog. I always have his papers but he is always asleep on the back seat. They seem to be more interested in the 10,000 dollar I am bring with me. I wish.

Yesterday I went to Nogales and I was appalled at how the border people treated everyone. The gate keeper was so dam arrogant and rude. There was an older Mexican women have difficulty with the heat and he told her to wait her turn. When he turned his back the crowd got her to the front. Once you got in, there were only 2 stations open and it was like they went as slow as they could.

Thanks Dog, nice T Bird Eh??

Says, 'caged or restrained' so a leash otta do. Not a bad idea really, given that not all dogs are friendly.

Seventh Fuel Hike this Year in Mexico
http://www.sandiegored.com/noticias/54920/Seventh-Fuel-Hike-this-Year-in-Mexico/

I was south of San Felipe in Gonzaga Bay over the weekend and the gas was about 15 cents less then in San Diego. We are at just over 4 bucks a gallon here.

90 gallons, $362 in the boat two weeks ago. Figure on $4 a gallon right now in Penasco. I have a cheat sheet in my wallet for liters=gallons so I know exactly how much gas I'm buying and putting in the boat. Burned 78 gallons of it fishing. A run to the 51 typically burns 88 gallons.

Time to start buying fish, not gas. :(

So sad but last year we were paying less than in the states. I just don't know how the locals can afford it, as well as us. It will drive the price up for all goods.

When PRI won the election no one really knew they would take such a hard line on fiscal policy...it is not working. http://www.economist.com/blogs/americasview/2014/06/mexico-s-weak-economy

In Caborca a guy measured out a 10 liter purchase and found he only receive 8
"In the purchase of 10 litres of petrol stolen two litres
H. Caborca, are-last Saturday a customer of the petrol station Salcido, located on calle Obregon and the avenida Adalberto Sotelo, denounced the scandalous robbery that made this company to its customers once sought to acquire 10 liters in a deposit only frame 8 litres at the end, but were charged 128.60 pesos.
The affected reported that after you try to talk to the responsible trade, this accepted this pump dispatcher for a long time the problem give liters of "less" but that the owner has simply ignored the accusations of their own employees, directly affected customers who ignore this situation.
The irregular situation came to public light when a customer purchased a gallon measures showing that the deposit only reached mark 8 liters, so alert to all the caborquenses to avoid purchasing fuel in this establishment, before clear theft they are doing to their customers."

Well I don't steal but if it doesn't bother you I would advise your clients to lock their suitcases

Always the bright spot in my day Jerry. Does your poison jar ever empty? Is there nothing good going on in your life? Just askin......
jerry
Russ sometimes there really isn't a silver lining...well in this case there is..in the rich gas station owners pockets
HILL BOY
So they are stealing from their own people also. What a shame min $5.00 per day to drive to work and they only make $10.00 per day. Sucks!!! You don't have a job you can't feed your family what can you do? I know what I would do just hope I don't get caught.

Roughly a dollar a litro.
tequilatodd
so thats like 3.78 per gal? DAMN SAM
Speaking of Sam. Why don't then install pumps at the Sams Club so we can pay member prices?
jerry
Some of these pumps has tricky programming to rip off the drivers. Many times they hit you in the middle of a fillup cycle rather than the front or last 20 liters...makes it hard to see the sleight of hand....
tequilatodd
Oh! the old bait and switch.
