It is sunny, hot and humid. The storm came and went in about two hours time yesterday.

Bright blue skies, heavy cloud cover to the east. Hot today again but the nights and early mornings are very plesant and cool.

Los Cabos was hit HARD - cat 3-4, depending on what part of corridor it was measured. We have cancelled our October trip, and are now looking at late february as a possible return. Destruction of resorts just east of Cabo san Lucas was the worst - all the way to San Jose del Cabo. Some resorts will not open for a couple of months, with others "reporting" that they will open by Oct 1. The International airport isn't scheduled to open until this Friday the 26th, or maybe later, as it had been posted it would be open by today - that's not happening. It's odd that there has been so little news about this in Arizona.

That's because AZ news doesn't give a you know what about what happens in Mexico. But, there's been a ton of news about it on social media. Go to the Facebook page: On the Road in Mexico. You will find many links to other news sources.

San Carlos had high waves and wind. Ross' place ended up with about two inches water inside and about the same in sand on his patio.

Curious about the 2 inches of water inside part. Assuming that caused damage, is that damage covered by your Homeowner's Insurance? Or do you have to have add'l flood insurance coverage?
GV Jack
I can't answer that question. I'll see Ross tonight and ask him. He said the damage was minimal and the property management
people cleaned the place up.
