Road into RP

Coming down tomorrow for a couple days of R&R. Is Highway 8 into town passable or should I turn off at Laguna Shores as recommended by Rocky Point 360?

The only problem area was at Freemont and the detours around it were quick and easy.

Thanks for the info ... staying on Sandy Beach so Fremont won't be a factor on the way in ..

Even without road construction, you should take this way to Sandy Beach. Only reason not to would be if you needed to shop first as the only store on this route is Oxxo as you approach Sandy Beach. It will cut around 10 minutes off of your drive.

FYI, the detour on BJ at Fremont is no longer. The road is open.

Roberto, so I can drive all the way to the Malecon and no problem?

Malecon road is good, some side streets being worked on now so tough going to area around Bacanora/Intrepid dock.
