"Just got a message from a traveler passing through northbound that the vado at Cataviña is starting to flow water across the highway. This new information, coupled with all the reports of flooding and damage to the highway south of Guerrero Negro makes travel on the transpeninsular hazardous right now.
We also have reports of heavy rain at Gonzaga right now making Mex5 also highly suspect.
I would suspend any non-essential travel plans south of El Rosario on Mex 1 and south of San Felipe on Mex 5 for the time being until we learn more about the current conditions...
