I am an American dental Hygienist and my fiance needed 4 quadrants of Perio surgery which was performed by Dr. Gozope in Rocky Point.
After having a disappointing experience with Rocky Smiles ( they never recognized or diagnosed his bone loss with x rays, deep pockets, and perio condition which equals negligence in our country) .The condition worsened and his perio disease was worsening as he began to experience some mobility. We found Dr. Gozope, a highly trained Periodontist who since Covid works alone in his modern, immaculate office.
He charged us $2,000 for all four quadrants of surgical pocket reduction ( cutting) and stitching . Similar work in the USA would run at least $8,000.
He is extremely caring, honest ,competent periodontist with minimal pain, has an excellent bedside manner, and checked in with us on each day of surgery. His skills are second to none.
