Anybody know who can replace rollers on a glass sliding door in the Playa Encanto area?

If the roller looks like this one you can by them at Home Depot. They just slide in.

They do get rusty quick, especially when the door is beachfront. Big problem opening the door when they rust to the point of completely locking up. Periodic oiling seems to help but attracts sand so still not a good solution. A stainless steel sealed bearing roller seems like the best solution but I haven't been able to find any. Thinking about buying stainless sealed bearings and machining the groove in the outer race and replacing the cheap bearings in a new roller set.

I had that happen to 2 doors that took 20 minutes of power washing, prying and applying much wd-40.
We got the doors to finally open but the rollers were pretty bad. In the end we couldn't get the doors out of the tracks due to lack of head room even with
the roller adjusters backed off.
The trick is getting the door out of the tracks.

We have the same problem. Even with the rollers completely retracted the doors will not come out of the frame for servicing. We had to take the side frames of the door loose at the bottom and swing them out far enough to replace the rollers. Very difficult to re-seat the frame sides and now the screws and anchor points have rusted/rotted away. We are replacing the complete door assemblies with an all vinyl door. Be a big job to break and chisel everything out but well worth it in the long haul. Finally we will be able to remove the doors for service and no metal to rust and corrode.

Use Alumalube and Alumastick....wax based. Wd40 is inferior for this application

Yep, not a big fan of WD as a lubricant. But it's a great solvent based cleaner & water dryer for that wet distributor.

The glass shop on Constitution on the right hands side of the street, just off Benito Juarez on the way to Super ley has stainless rollers and will install them. Not cheap but should last longer.

Santana Glass has them and will come to your place to install them. They are very inexpensive to have installed. Santana Glass is on the same street and very close to Super Ley.
