Our U.S. Dept of State strongly urges Americans to confirm what their domestic health carriers/plans cover & do not cover abroad, esp. emergency medical services, e.g. MedEvac. Medicare does not cover you out of country. Note: Medigap, the supplemental plan may cover you for Emer Servs abroad, but only for the first 60 days out of country.
