Im new in this forum, and I was pretty suprise to find out this is not the first, there was actually another forum, the original one you might say. You can actually access the old forum at http://www.rockypointonline.com/rpforum/
You will be disappointed, its a ghost town, no posts or topics. And you cant post anything.

But here is the fun part, archive.org saves parts of all the internet, so you can access past versions of websites.

So in the intrest of memories and lost posts, here is the copy of the old forum:
http://web.archive.org/web/20080313182447/www.rockypointonline.com/RPForum/default.asp
Please people, don't cry, its just the past. Now many of the post are not accessible but quite a few are still stored and you can read all those posts.
No, you cant modify, register or post new stuff... its just a copy. But still its fun to see what people thought in the past of Rocky Point.

This link shows you major changes on the website since it started:
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.rockypointonline.com

On a further note for the creators of this forum: chosing vBulletin over phpBB -> Nice move.

How weired...I'm going out the door right now, I'm heading for the great Corvina hunt down Santa Tomas way. It will be fun, maybe, checking it out next week when I get home.

Thanks Manny.

I used to read the fishing posts in that forum religiously, getting border reports and shore fishing reports whenever I was planning a trip to RP, etc.

I don't think I ever registered there, but reading Stuarts, Rics, and Dan McCauley's fishing trip reports on that forum (and on this one) was the thing that inspired me to give offshore fishing in Rocky Point a go (All my 25 years of offshore experience was Southern California prior to January 2010)

A trip down memory lane, for sure.
