I must say, in hearing that The Reef was going to be changing things around and trying to become a hot spot again, I had my doubts, but this place looks really freaking nice! Very stylish, everything is wood, wicker or white cotton (from the pics), fire pits, plus a wood-paneled DJ booth on the beach with an elevated dance floor (perfect for some go-go dancin'!).
I hesitate to use the words "Scottsdale" or "L.A.," but this is the classiest beach-front thing I've ever seen in Puerto Penasco. Let's hope the drinks stay at Rocky Point levels!
Myaann at http://mynparty.blogspot.com is the new entertainment director there now so she's probably the one to follow for more details. The Reef is indicating this is just Phase 1 of the makeover, with more changes to follow inside the bar after Memorial Day weekend.
