Just wanted to update everyone on my take from rocky point.
We had no trouble crossing into mexico, we were stopped by US right before crossing in but very easy couple of agents and yes one with a machine gun, couple of questions we were on are way in. Mexicans did not stop us. ( 35 foot motorhome towing a jeep ) We stayed the the reef rv park. Very quiet and there were some beach front spots open all weekend. We ate downtown sat.....crazy lots of bikers etc. ate at marys....We ate on sundays at debbies and monday too. Went to jjs at cholla bay not very busy in the afternoon, Went shopping at the sandy mall......my take is every where we went we were told they are hurtin for tourists.....they were happy for motorcycle rally but venders told us not much was bought.... (of coarse rather hard to take things back on bike) Didn't see many police in sonyata or Rocky point but the ones we say were very friendly and/or directing traffic....We will be heading back down for News Years.....came back on Tuesday no problems crossing back into states, one car in front of us, and we do have passports. Great trip!!!!!!!
