The outboard on my 1997 23' Wellcraft "Murphy Girl" died in November, so I started searching for a newer, bigger and faster boat to fish the Sea of Cortez. I decided to purchase a 2005 Cobia 274 center console in Massachusetts. The boat is 27’-6” long, 8’-6” beam, holds 200 gallons fuel, has twin 225 hp Yamaha 4-stroke fuel injected outboards with only 250 hours.
