Hey Joe. I too read that article on yahoo this morning. He will be able to sell the goods locally through offer up, craigslist, Facebook, Walmart parking lot, etc. Might take a little time, but he will be ok And make a profit. And you’re right on the money about the health industry. About a week ago I read an article, I think on Reddit, that a person had a family member in the hospital and the patient was charged $5 for, wait for it.....one cough drop. He had the pics of the said cough drop and the bill. Un-f’n-believable.
You would continue though? Ha, what a patriot. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/15/technology/matt-colvin-hand-sanitizer-donation.html

thought I'd chime in - stores in Tempe have no TP. I haven't been to them all, nor are we in dire need, but stores are crazy around here. This morning we drove by Costco at 9:45am - 15 minutes before they open, and the line was 1/2 way around the store. Crazy. No meat in butcher shop at Safeway at 6:15am, and of course, no TP or paper plates, paper towels, etc. Time to pack the RV and head for the hills. Glad we voted early.

Never seen anything like this. After Monday morning seeing the stock market down 10% before noon and the president's press conference I told my girlfriend we needed to try and get a few things. The two grocery stores we went to were pretty much out of everything useful in the central/north phoenix area. Absolutely crazy.

If you want tp or can or dry foods be in line at 5am at frys, they open at 6am. Hit the tp first that's where everyone runs to first. Walmart don't even bother they are the worst. They must not know to order big!

Soon as everyone gets back from spring break, there's going to be another out break every where.

I saw a post that Costco's in Phx area are doing a controlled opening when the doors open, not the mad rush you would
expect.
TP is now located near the front of stores with a 1 pack per sale. Other items are available but many are limited.

As the test kit's become available the cases in the US will definitely surge.

We lost the ability to minimize the new cases in the US, 2-3 weeks ago when the Gov't didn't shut everything down.

I'm reading the 100K people who got off cruise ships last week in the US were only minimally screened.

Next week is could be interesting. (9200 cases in US with 120 deaths on Wed. 3-18 4pm)
Well at least the powers to be in the US have woken up to the fact this is real.

Think of this as the circle of life - the thinning of the herd. It is affecting the older and sickly. It is time to stop this stupid panic and start to be rational. And before you start to criticize my statement-- I am a health care provider

My wife and I went to that same store on Monday at 10:00 AM, we parked the car, walked a few feet and froze! We saw a scene from a sci-fi/apocalyptic movie: we turned around, walked to the area where the carts are supposed to be parked, leaned against the metal bars to enjoy the "movie". It took us a few minute to realize that it wasn't a dream, we saw the same thing you saw! Then we just started laughing, turned around and headed to Trader Joe's. Luckily, I always buy extra stuff. We didn't buy any toilet paper and we don't plan on buying any for the next few months; I have always minimized my trips to Costco to save time and I always have a few months’ supply of everything. Costco also helped: many times I can’t find the items I need and this game made me realize a long time ago that I need to buy for today and save a few items for tomorrow. AntMan!

Some of the Millennial generation are referring to the CV-19 virus as the Boomer Remover. In today's world
there are many older and or sickly people who who wouldn't be alive if not for today's modern world of medicine.
Keep them alive or let nature take it's way? It's a moral dilemma not many are willing to deal with.

We got off one on Sunday - no screening at all and none in the two airports we went through!
