It is out of the way, but I always make sure a new Penasco traveler of mine gets a stop here. I hit Wrecked too bit this will crush me if they ruin this classic.

There's no need for a Wrecked duplicate on both sides of the dunes. I'm sure the Cholla Bay longtime residents don't want that either.

I trust it will be well-managed, but I hope the charm and history (pics) is still preserved. Just upgrade the bathrooms & kitchen. If the Friendly Dolphin can do it all these years, surely they can.

I don't want to be a fear-monger here, but I have always wanted to visit the area. New news scares me again this year. A coworker of mine in Tucson before Covid was fishing there every other weekend, I couldn't believe his catches on his cellphone. I'm still regretting blowing off that trip.

Put them in the parking lot where the Malecon approaches. The can do what is they want there, away from tourists and locals who pay an honest rent and tax, and don't gross out everyone in the area. Tell me otherwise!

Thank God. These people came out of nowhere, paying some suspicious rental fees, now you can barely see the ocean from the Malecon, less find a place to sit. Garbage and stench everywhere. Now setting it permanent structures all the way down...

I remember being in Penasco a few years ago over Christmas and it was the most rain I've seen there. What year was it when everything in Sonoyta got washed out?

In the US, restaurant staff either feign ignorance or says Cod. What is it actually in Penasco, or does it depend on where you go? Side-note, really want to go to the place where the Chef clamps down the full filet and rotates it. Thanks!
