I have verizon and they say they get service in mexico just not anything north of mexico city !!!! Thanks for all the help.:-D

when we come down (about once a month for 4-5 days ) our phones don't get service. Right now we need something that will work for calls from the US in case of emergency. We plan on selling everything and moving down in about a year and then we'll get a mx provider.

I plan on moving down full time by next year. I have a few business ideas and I know that the population swells to about 70,000 with the weather and drops to around 45,000 during the summer. If someone does know about the Americans I would be greatful.
