Possibly due to people pulling race cars in trailers, causing a secondary inspect?

Just answered one of my own questions. It's on the same intersection as El Sombrero, at Calle 13 and Pino Suarez. The original is there on the northwest corner...Is this right behind it, attached? Anyway, it's somewhere around there, just before you get to Penasco del Sol, etc.

EXACTLY! The only thing that made sense would be if it was aimed towards cruise ships that would park further off the shore then ferry tourists in on smaller boats. In that regard, it is logical to have it as close to the water as possible, then rip off said tourists with cheap, tacky...

Wow, checking out the cam view today, and it looks like Memorial Day out there on the beach! Lots of umbrellas, sail boats, jet skis, etc. Quite a sight for a Tuesday!

Was the parking lot just to the right of Flavios along the water full as well or do you mean the entrance over there was blocked and all the other spaces along the middle of the Malecon were full?

From the comments in press releases, the mayor sounds like he expects it to go through January, at the very least. So yeah, another middle finger to the rally.

Hah, I believe you, it's just that it's rare to see tourist-type photos of Penasco that are so old. Most pics from that era are historical town/building shots without residents. Would LOVE to see more!

"I heard from this guy at work who knew someone who said..." is your worst possible source of information about pretty much anything, but especially in Mexico, and more specifically, Rocky Point. The drug violence you read about in the newspapers in the states occurs in areas nowhere near Puerto...

OR, did you mean traffic was slow, as in "light," "not busy?"

I guess that would be a GOOD thing, so long as it wasn't because of random harassment and excessive inspections on either side of the border, and more because so many were coming down for the holiday weekend.
