You are 100% correct would have been nice to see it done during the summer but that was a blooper in planning. It has been torn up for 2 years now. Better planning would have been to only work on a section at a time not tear up every street in old port. I love what they have done so far lets...

I was there yesterday and it does look like there is work being done they were pouring concrete. I don't mind driving up the 1 way road the wrong way (not like alot of people haven't already done that) I will still ride in next week on the scooter.

Maybe we can have a benefit for the Fiesta Cruiser/Evelyn Artificial Reef Project.... I can't help but think it would make an awesome dive spot with all the large holes you could swim thru very little chance of getting lost inside and the divers in Az and south west would enjoy it and the fish...

Just think how big the fish would be that would venture outside the protected area... Maybe we could get one of those sinking shrimp boats out there as well.. The Fiesta Cruiser would make a great wreck dive you could swim right thru it between the floors.

Strip it down of all contaminates cut some large holes in the bottom, place some blow off patches over the holes, drag out to 80' deep water and blow the patches. Be even better if you could get the pirate ship with some fireworks to shoot a cannon ball as it sinks. Then set up a 5 square mile...

Suprised the U.S. Govt didn't give them a million dollars for this thru the stimulus plan, I would bet if it was being printed in a "GREEN BUILDING" the check would already be cashed.
