Lived here for three years. Things are better now than they have ever been. The local police have a new chief and he seems to be directing them to stop harassing the tourists. Crime is pretty low in the tourist areas and the weather is great! Come on down. Just use the normal precautions...

Yeah, the post office used to be a good service. The last few years it has really gone down the crapper. I try to use them as little as possible. When in the states I go with UPS or FedEx for all my shipping needs. When in Mexico, I still use the burro.
