Mazatlan is beautiful, so is south of Cancun, Manzanillo, etc., but we can't drive there for a fantastic weekend whenever we want (like we did 2 days ago) so that's the beauty of Penasco.

If you haven't been, I highly recommend it. The festivities start with children's performances and build to amazing acts late in the night, and it's free! Support Penasco and the arts.

I was thinking the weather had changed in Penasco after waking up on Saturday to 70 degrees and a beautiful day and evening. Then Sunday and the humidity hit. Hopefully it will be gone next week when we're down.

We love the brothers of El Gran Jefe and El Gran Patron. They have always charged us $35.00 for whale watching/fishing. We went out 15 miles for what seemed like 6 hours. There were 10 people.
