Has anyone heard about any US vehicles being impounded because of not having current tags or no plates? Like vehicles you leave down there to run around town in that you never kept up on registration.

We still have good luck with AT&T with the $5.00 a month add on for the International plan. Works out in Playa Encanto too. You would not want to use it for long conversations back to the states but cell to cell down there works fine. I use magicJack for our main phone at the house.
