BW I agree. Wind direction can also be critically important. From a kayak standpoint in the winter/Spring wind out of the south is your friend (Flounder) in protected bays... CHOLLABAY4LIFE .... Southern wind is the best IMHO. Anything out of the W or N and GFL....

JJ I've been distant lately... had some issues with the truck back in late February. Thought I was in the Southern Arizona Desert Racing association race that weekend and hit the woop section outside of Cholla Bay at about 50 and broke my left front spindle... had to leave the truck in Cholla...

Matt did? Yea I actually see people are using it to fish almost every time down now. Last year for Fourth of July we took the boat over there and the concentration of Spanish Mack's off those rocks is insane... Definitely some good fishing over there. Just have to find a way to launch the kayak...

Shore fishing you really dont have much choice but to use cast metal like mentioned above. Kastmaster's or Crocodiles or any other metal spoon... you can't really bottom fish from shore without getting hung up and you wont get much distance with any other bass lures/ jerkbaits... Jerry's buddy...
