The simple fact is that if people from the USA were allowed to bring firearms into Mexico, PP would be truly dangerous and we would have a American citizen killed there before you could say "pass the ammunition"; and it probably would be between tourists in some bar.

Maybe you should be more concerned about your driving habits than carrying a gun, and "in" your lap is the same as "draw" my friend,(you just didn't point it), unless you always have it in your lap. Now if you always have it in your lap, that's another problem best left to a professional.:razz:

Joe, you did see that picture of the smoke that Jerry posted didn't you? From Los Conchas that would be to the right of the Island, and could very well look like it's out over the water from there.

When you look at Bird Island from where you're at, Santo Tomas is off to the right, and behind of Bird Island. Google Earth, then maybe you can see how when you look off to the right of the Island, you'll be looking right down the coast line.

Well there not all that big and depending on different factor's the smoke can be either black or more often lighter. They burn a lot of field crops in Mexico and the states, in fact there are more than a few people on the States side that complain every year about the acrid smoke that blows...
