How are the Spring Breakers- son in college along with 10 other friends coming down today.

Had an experience with family member, and a major head injury. We took him to the clinic, where they gave his steroids to prevent his brain from swelling, and the doctor stayed with him all night. He later went to Mayo in Scottsdale, and they said the clinic did the correct procedures.

Gas is $2.82/gallon if you use the 11.59 pesos/gallon. It PAYS to drive to Penasco.

Loved La Caverna- and especially (I can't believe I'm saying this) the Turtle Soup. It was incredible, although I wouldn't eat it now. It's kind of amazing a cave could burn- until you saw the electrical wires running down the wall.

La Cita was my first Mexican Shrimp Cocktail in the 70's and I've been hooked ever since. I don't like American shrimp cocktails, but La Cita's- mmmm! Hope they're as good as I remember.

It felt so great to be back in Penasco last weekend after a 6 week hiatus with my husband. If I were a man, Penasco would be my "mistress", but since I'm a woman, Penasco is my "Cabana Boy", and yes, I'll support it!
