Wow Jerry quick question, I've been surfing my whole life and I'm the only person I've seen catching waves and board surfing at Playa Bonita and Encanto. You speak of a sandbar that produces good rides, is this generally on a strong south westerly wind? Waves about 2-4ft with decent shape?

Was that outside of Penasco or Lobos or Tomas?

I know yet it's been a dream of mine to catch one for decades.... Until now my boat has only been big enough to cruise around the inside reefs by the estuary and fish the pilings by the pier, but recently got bigger faster boat to get me to some of the spots.

Thank you Stuart, all the help is appreciated! I've never had any issues cruising to the estuary in my 14ft aluminum and 15hp Merc but going out further with my boat I just restored could be interesting:)
