2012 Biker Rally

Does anyone know if there is going to be an "official" rally this year? The website hasn't been updated since last year. The Facebook page has the dates listed but no other info. Are there any events, rides, or poker runs planned? My friends and I will be there regardless of sponsors and activities. But it would be nice to have actual information to share with others. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks for the link but that is the forum to the "official" website that still reads "Hang on to your hats the 2011 Rocky Point Rally is coming soon". I was hoping someone has some solid details for this years happenings.

12TH ANNIVERSARY ROCKY POINT RALLY ON THE SEA OF CORTEZ

Around 10,000 motorcycles enthusiasts are expected to arrive in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) from around the world for the 12th Rocky Point Rally!

“Gran Fiesta de Motocicletas,” is also known as the Rocky Point Motorcycle Rally or Rocky Point Biker Rally

The Rocky Point Bike Rally is an annual charitable motorcycle event that takes place in Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico. Since it is a charitable event, all the proceeds from registration fees are donated to Mexico's charities.

The charities involved are the Red Cross, the Fire Department, our Elderly Home, La Montana Special Needs School, and the George Papanicolau Cancer Association.

Much of the action will be in down town Puerto Penasco!!! The Rocky Point Bike Rally consists of many different events. It starts with the Poker Run from Why, Arizona, to Rocky Point, several bike contests, a golf tournament, exhibits, dice games and lots of food and drinks. Of course there is a bike show and also a burn out pit!

You can register for the event at the WELCOME tent (this tent will be set up for the weekend of the event) located at the entrance of Rocky Point. If you are planning to participate or just visit Rocky Point to experience this madness of bikes and great fun, you need to book your rooms as soon as possible. It gets extremely busy during that weekend and finding the right place to match your needs may become a challenge as the date gets closer. So, book early to secure your accommodations.

Well i don't think this forum is for bikers Paisano Publications, LLC - Home of Easyriders more like the international exquire, most harley shops have runs to every city around, not just penasco.
