A I Won't Be Stopped

A I Rinkle Readers appear to be the next thing. We just returned from a few weeks in Florida where at least one of the big-chain supermarkets is using "Rinkle Readers" at the self checkouts to determine if you are eligible to buy alcoholic beverages, without requiring a employee to stroll over and manually approve. There was still an employee watching, obviously ready to intervene if the buyer was not wrinkled or gray enough, or whatever enough, to get A I clearance, but we seldom saw him/her intervene. I inquired how it worked, and what were the algorithms, and was told it was a complex judgement based on facial wrinkles, hair color, balding, eyebrows, ear, nose and lip size, and what he called "other things they don't want people to know". Which supermarket in Arizona will be the first to get it?
