Biggest full moon in 18 years this Saturday

The moon will be closer to Earth than it has been in more than 18 years, leading some observers to dub it a supermoon. It will create a dramatically large range of high and low ocean tides. Looks like a 23' tidal change on Sunday, with a high tide of 18' Sunday afternoon. Wish I was there to see it! :(

The tide wasn't as high as last August, or as low as this February, but it did go quite a ways out:
Maximum was 17.81 feet at 2011-03-20 14:32 MST
Minimum was -4.81 feet at 2011-03-20 08:14 MST
Here's the high and low tide for the last year:

Searched interval from 2010-03-21 00:01 MST to 2011-03-22 00:01 MST
Maximum was 19.08 feet at 2010-08-10 14:19 MST
Minimum was -4.98 feet at 2011-02-18 20:13 MST
