Like most people with an affinity to Rocky Point we love seeing Roger Clyne when he is in RP (or anywhere else for that matter. We had a great time visiting with him at a tequila tasting awhile back). However, if you are into fantastic guitar players and are going to be in RP for New Years we HIGHLY recommend seeing Carvin Jones while he is there. Carvin was voted as one of the top 50 blues guitar players of all time by Guitar Player magazine. He will be at Boo Bar at nights on the 31st, 1st and 2nd and at Beach Bum during the day on the 1st and 2nd. I have been playing guitar for over 30 years and Carvin is truly one of the best I have ever seen. Hard to believe we can be in RP for New Years AND see Carvin Jones!

Very cool. Used to see him all the time back in the early 90's. Always great to see him after working or playing a gig.
