China Projects 20% Car Marketshare in Mexico 2023

If the Chinese cars are priced 20-25% less than what currently is sold in Mexico and many other countries,
Chinese cars will sell well.
The US and other countries Industry taught them how to make quality things and now they will
flood the world with Chinese made expensive items like appliances, Car's/trucks and airplanes.

Everyone likes a great deal especially people in Mexico

More to this story, Volvo is owned by Geely a Chinese company, but Volvo cars for the Asian market are assembled in China.
Volvo's sold here and in Europe are assembled in Sweden and now their SUV's in assembled the US.

Ford motor owned Volvo for a decade before selling it off to the Chinese Company.

Geely is a big auto maker and lately an upcoming EV maker. They also own Polestar EV's which are big sellers in Europe.
We saw many when we were in Europe last year, nice looking cars. Polestar is now selling in the US.

Question? Will Chinese cars ever be sold in the US?
In fact, some China-built cars are already for sale in the U.S. under Western brands, including the Buick Envision, Polestar 2 and soon,
the Lincoln Nautilus.
China's BYD is already the largest manufacturer of electric buses in North America.

The flood has begun.
50 years ago there were 4 big auto makers in the US with 25 sub brands.
Today there are 2 US based ones with less than 10 sub brands.

Don’t forget the Volvo plant in South Carolina.

I stand corrected...only the top end (read most expensive) model is made exclusively in China. I've a few close friends who have had them. The price is much higher than the quality...many issues.
