That is funny, "castrate" I guess she did castrate the land from the teachers.
More of the same land dealings in Cholla, you think you own it then it is sold away.
Who knew back in the 80's that the land would be so valuable.

Add; I read it again and this is my take;
Mrs. Castrate donates the land to build a school and since all the children now are gone claims that the school is not needed and she sells it to herself (a limited liability Co. she controls) Nice!
When the school ended through student attrition the school was converted to benefit the Teachers association in Cholla. It became a teachers community center (housing and rec) Suddently they where locked out and found the center sold by the donor, Mrs. Castrate.
