Dental work during pregnancy?

#1
I'm in my first trimester and I have scheduled to have stage 2 of my dental implants done on the same day of my 12 week scanning. I have told my dentist Dr. Todd in Whitby that I'm pregnant so that he could be careful while doing the procedure. I have asked my gynecologist if it was safe for me to have dental implants now. She said I'm in good health and I can get any dental work if they don't use any kind of anesthesia or harmful procedure that could affect my baby. I'm still concerned about it. Has anyone got dental implant during pregnancy time? If so, how was your experience?

Did you have to or do you need a bone graft? I haven't been pregnant or breastfeeding for about 2 years but have gone through the whole process for my front tooth, just took the mold last week in Nogales to finally get my crown attached to the implant they put the healer onto. Really you should be fine like your o.b.g.y.n. Said except if you are getting a bone graft I would recommend you don't do that if you are with child just because it was surprisingly invasive and I ended up needing to take a half week off work which is not like me. So for your body going through so much I would just recommend extra rest compared to if you were not pregnant for your body to adjust and your mouth to heal properly. I'm feeling healthy now but still couldnt work out for a few days after they installed this healer thing on the implant post. Hope that helps
