Detour?

I read from a person on the Rocky Point Times facebook page that it was dangerous taking the detour. What is this about? Would it be hard to get through pulling a flatbed trailer? Appreciate any info.:?

The pass is good the wait really sucks. It was a great Idea to rip the bridge down.
