Every year we go down for Samanta Santa. We rarely leave Cholla that weekend due to the crowds and craziness. However, we usually will venture out to Sandy Beach and Wrecked to see how crowded the beach is, there is usually thousands of campers. I have been wondering where they will go with the beach closed for the jetty construction. Any ideas??

what days will the crowd start to arrive? we are thinking of getting down there on the 11th and leaving on the 13th.

You should have no problems on those dates, but if you are renting check availability as soon as possible. The crowd builds through the week, heavy influx on Thursday, fiesta peaking on Friday and Saturday. You will not get into the Malecon or on Calle 13. Sunday is big but already people start to leave.
