My son and I had a fantastic 
trip to Rocky Point last weekend. The traffic was nonexistent, PDO was virtually empty and quiet. Temperature lows were in the low 60s (great sleeping weather), highs in the low 80's. Ocean was flat at 9:00 am, not even a ripple for the the students checkout dives. Visibility was 25 feet at a 20 foot depth.
We feasted on burritos and donuts from Drunkin' Donuts for breakfast; large sub sam'iches for lunch and freshly grilled bacon wrapped shrimp for dinner . The shrimp was courtesy of his Diving Instructor, Randy Sims at http://www.seaudivin.com/.
While the students went diving I went fishing out of my small avon inflatable, my kids call the "Baby Rubber Dubber." I'll post a fishing report in the fishing section.
Returning was tough on Sunday morning, as the ocean was just gorgeous again.
