It was too windy to get out on Saturday, but the conditions on Sunday morning were superb. The water was flat and everywhere I went there were huge schools of bait on the surface and loads of skipjacks busting through them. It was fun to see. I managed to fill the live well with lots of 8" pacific mackerel in only 20' of water outside of the harbor. I headed to some grouper spots out west and caught a nice 60 pound gulf grouper on the first drop. I also managed to catch a couple baby gulf grouper trolling with Rapalas, and some nice corvina and a baby pinto bass on squid. The babies were promptly released. Attached are some photos.
