I do not see how the average Mexican family survives on the wages they earn.Nafta 20 years is a failure on raising wages

Especially when government monopolized industries like Pemex extort from the public.

whenever I have filled up in PP before the drive home, if I use my debit card, I see the conversion on my statement.
Usually about the same or a couple bucks less for the fill-up vs. US price.
Plus, for some reason, I get better gas mileage on the way back.
Possibly because I'm not driving like a bat out of hell to get back home

You may be getting better mileage because that gasoline doesn't have ethanol in it. The ethanol in US gasoline decreases our mileage a little. Does the gasoline in Mexico have ethanol?

Been awhile since I purchased gas in Mexico. Filled up at Las Conchas Pemex last night, Magna=$3.14 gallon compared to $2.13 at Fry's in Ahwatukee this week.
