FYI, gas in Why at the Why Not and Chevron was $2.59, but at the Casino it was $2.34- for a savings of $.25/gallon it's worth the one mile drive east! At the new Pemex in Sonoyta on 15th of Sept. Street it was $2.28 (7.72 pesos x 3.8 / $12.85 pesos per dollar). We didn't check out how much gas was in Penasco, but it's usually cheaper than at the border.

Diesel in RP on Fremont was 7.51 pesos per liter....comes out to $2.17/gallon....I got 13.15 pesos per dollar at the Cambio place on Fremont (the plaza caddy-corner to the Pemex gas station). The Cambio place is right across from the bank in the little plaza.
