My Dad's Trash-80 didn't use floppies. It used cassettes. FYI, it was not a good idea to play them on a regular cassette player. They sounded awful!

Thanks All...Kea, I never saw a Trash-80 with cassettes. I had 8" floppies.

Just as an aside. I kept that thing up to about three years ago. I donated it to the
White Elephant which is Green Valley's version of a Salvation Army store. I went
back to check it out and the guy told me it sold in three days.

I think the floppies were an upgrade from the cassettes.

I remember Dad getting a floppy drive after I left for college. But I don't remember if that was for the TRS-80 or for the Apple II. When the "double-sided" floppies first came out you actually had to flip them over to use the other side.

What a nice trip down memory lane.
