Our recent trip to RP had us checking in to Rosa del Desierto on Friday for one night before starting our weekend stay at one of the houses in Las Palmas. Me, my daughter and son-in-law were starving and stopped at a little roadside place off Calle 13 and Luis Encinas called Tacos Don Nico. Just your average neighborhood eatery until we tasted the salsa. 
A. Mazing. Seriously the hottest and tastiest salsa we've ever had in RP. Carne tacos weren't bad but it was the salsa that made it. Check it out.
