I just wanted to pass along that an old time Cholla resident has passed. Austin Schillinger passed on Friday from acute kidney failure. Him & June had move to Ajo in the last few years so they could manage Austin's Alzheimers as well as his health issues. Always a tough time when a friend passes, but I think that there is a blessing in disguise here.
My understanding is there is no memorial planned, June will be bringing Austin's ashes back to Cholla, his home, for a final resting place.
