So today starts the Fun Run a first ever for this event. Sounds like a lot of folks are heading this way for this event which is good news http://www.rockypointfunrun.com/ Check it out.
Next weekend is the first ever "Fans of Rocky Point" Facebook generated beach party. Most of the activities will be out in front of Mannys beach club. http://www.fansofrockypoint.com/ Registered guest (registration is free) will have their wrist bands which will give them discounts at various locations around town. There will be raffles for gifts ranging from a few bucks to hundreds of dollars. Kayaks will be positioned off shore tied to a catamaran for use. The RussBuss will be offering city tours and whatever else is required of the participants. So far over 360 people have replied that they will be here. Hotels in the Mirador say they are receiving bookings. Should be a great event.
